The original version of the game Pac-Man was played on the streets of Medieval England when they would get a local starving peasant or “Pack-Man” as they were known was forced to dress up in a yellow suit with a backpack to collect the fruit placed in the streets by the local Lords and Affluent members of society.
They would then dress up some local children as ghosts for either food or a small reward of some kind. The Lords would then attempt to guide the children to the unfortunate peasant from their towers, while some of the local paupers would attempt to guide the Pack-Man to all the fruit granting him immunity from a good beating by the children.
